Chief Executive Officer, White Cap
Alan Sollenberger is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of White Cap, the leading distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products for professional contractors across North America. Alan oversees the company’s strategic direction and serves on the White Cap board of directors.
Prior to being named CEO in January 2024, Alan served as President of White Cap, overseeing all Sales, Operations, IT and Strategic Development since 2020. Since 2010, Alan has been dedicated to the White Cap business serving as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and then Chief Operating Officer before taking on the role of President.
Alan began working with the White Cap business in 2004 as part of The Home Depot portfolio of businesses, leading White Cap’s M&A activities. As part of The Home Depot and then HD Supply, Alan worked with multiple business units supporting numerous strategic sales and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining The Home Depot, Alan held finance positions at Ford Motor Company, General Electric and Ernst & Young. Alan received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
